Dan Davis
Vice President, Corporate Strategy Group, CenturyLinkDaniel Davis currently serves as Vice President in CenturyLink’s Corporate Strategy group, leading its corporate business development efforts. He previously served as Deputy General Counsel for CenturyLink. Mr. Davis joined CenturyLink after its 2003 acquisition of LightCore, where Mr. Davis served as General Counsel. Prior to that time, Mr. Davis was in private legal practice with the international law firm of Bryan Cave. Mr. Davis earned his B.A. from the University of Illinois, his J.D. from St. Louis University and his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Davis is the former chair and current member of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine’s TRB Emerging Technology Law Committee. Mr. Davis also serves as a mentor and Mock Angel for the St. Louis based Information Technology Entrepreneurial Network, a non-profit group of entrepreneurs and executives donating their time to provide guidance to start-up and development stage IT companies.
Don MacNeil
Chief Technology Officer, Edgeconnex
Mr. MacNeil has over 25 years of experience in network architecture and design; network engineering, access and optimization; customer operations; product and more. Prior to EdgeConneX, he served as EVP, Chief Operating Officer at XO Communications (XO), where he was responsible for the customer experience and the alignment of the products and services with XO’s Go-to-Market strategies. While at XO, Don also served as CMO for two years and was Vice President of Carrier Services Operations for six years. In this role, Don was overseeing service delivery, service assurance, product management, and the customer experience for XO Carrier Services, the company's wholesale services business unit. Joining XO in 2000, Don also held management positions in technology, operations and network engineering. Prior to XO, Don was an officer in the United States Navy, serving at-sea in operational leadership roles as well as various leadership roles in weapon system design and procurement.
Don has an MBA, Business Administration from William and Mary and a Master’s Degree of Physics from the United States Naval Postgraduate School. He completed his BS in Naval Architecture from the United States Naval Academy.
