Teaming Agreements have been used in federal contracting for decades. Now, they are viewed as a potentially valuable tool for marketing to private owners, competing for large projects, establishing solid relationships with trades and reserving manpower in a short supply market. Teaming Agreements that include provisions prohibiting the members from “poaching” employees may help a trade protect key employees but, at what risk?
