There's plenty to do and see in famous Palm Springs. For early morning golfers, there's a beautiful golf course at our resort. Fun Activities are being planned for the daytime hours. Or, you can explore and investigate the charm of Palm Springs on your own.
As for shopping, there are plenty of high-end Boutiques, at the EL PASEO SHOPPING DISTRICT and not-too-pricey shops and eating establishments right across the street at THE RIVER complex. Plus there are so many unique shops and boutiques carrying those one-of-a-kind items in DOWNTOWN PALM SPRINGS. Consider visiting the exotic DESERT ZOO, or scale the heights on the AERIAL TRAMWAY and enjoy the scenic view of the entire valley, or simply relax and laugh as you swim or sit poolside with friends.

The Living Desert Zoo and Garden

Located just a few miles outside the main areas of Palm Spring, this outdoor locale has a unique amalgamation of the American and African environment. Animals, such as wild cats and giraffes, can be easily spotted along with the hoofed animals of the desert. Get there early and help feed the giraffes. In the main building, veterinarians may be doing dental work on a big cat, which can be viewed through a window and on screen. 12-passenger shuttles can take visitors around the park if walking is a challenge.

A chance to witness the man-made wonders from the time of World War II and also the Korean and Vietnamese-era combat. You will find as many as 40 planes, some of which can be flown and static, displayed across three warehouses. The planes range from the B-17 flying fortress to even the F-4 fighter jet. There are also a couple of aircraft like PBY Catalina Flying Boat and C-47, and many more.
