Receive required forklift training for OSHA’s compliance standard.

Forklift operators frequently under estimate the damage that can be caused by careless operation of their units. Death, serious injury, damage to building, damage to stock and forklift damage have all been documented on a regular basis over the years. Since operating a forklift can be hazardous. OSHA requires that all workers who operate power lift devices receive training in the use of these units at least every three years. Employers must ensure that each forklift operator is competent to operate a forklift safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation. Evaluations will be done on the employer’s forklift.
