- Patients don’t take a holiday from needing blood, ALL blood types are critically needed, especially type O.
- Blood donations are being distributed to hospitals as quickly as donations are collected.
- The pandemic has impacted the number of people giving. In fact, about 92,000 fewer donors have visited Vitalant blood drives over the past year than the previous year.
