2023 BACKPACK DRIVE DONATIONS

PLEASE HELP US RAISE FUNDS BY JULY 12TH TO SUPPORT THE ABA COMMUNITY SERVICE BOARD'S BACKPACK DRIVE

YOU CAN HELP THE BOYS AND GIRLS OF CHILDREN FIRST LEADERSHIP ACADEMY,RISE, AND ARIZONA BAPTIST CHILDREN'S SERVICES AND MINISTRIES BY GIVING THEM THE TOOLS THEY NEED TO LEARN AND GROW!

What is Children First Leadership Academy(Phoenix)? Children First Academy's Phoenix campus educates children who are from economically challenged families. 100% of the students at this charter school and their families are at or below the poverty line and a vast majority of the students are homeless. There are approximately 250 students, grades K-6, being educated on the campus. The school provides stability and hope for kids amid a chaotic world of homelessness and hopelessness; many of the children live in motels, shelters and many live doubled up.Children First Academy works to provide the necessities, care and attention that so many homeless and low socioeconomic children lack.

What is RISE Services(Mesa)? RISE is a nonprofit organization that specializes in foster care services, finding committed and loving people to work with children, ages 0-18 years old and of all ethnicities. The children coming into care are those who have had a rough beginning through abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, drug exposure or violence.Foster families are given $100- by the state to buy clothing for each foster child. No funds are provided for school supply needs. There will be approximately 250 children we can assist at RISE to provide needed supplies.

What is Arizona Baptist Children's Services(Tucson)? Arizona Baptist Children’s Services (ABCS) serves at-risk families across Arizona by meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs. The backpack drive will benefit children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect and are currently placed with foster families. Children in these situations often leave their personal belongings behind and these backpacks and supplies will provide them with the basics they need as they transition to a new family and often a new school.
